I have been fascinated with nature since I was a small child, insects, birds and when I was 13, amphibians and reptiles which have been my main interest for the last 60 plus years. My career as a Biological Illustrator and Photographer Started at the University of Kansas, were I Illustrated a book on the tree frogs of Central America. the last 30 years of my career, I was the biological Illustrator and Photographer at The Ohio State University, College of Biological Sciences. I retired in 1998.

Today I continue to photograph everything nature, but over the last 25 years, I've begun to produced multimedia shows on amphibians and reptiles. I love to go through my 1,000,000's of old slides and digital files looking for pictures I can work on with the latest imaging software. It's amazing what you can do with a not-so-good old slide!
